  • Although the basic principles of the patient experience still ring true today, because the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted how hospitals operate, how medicine is practiced and how care is delivered… how do we take the current state and the lessons we have learned during the Pandemic into the future? At this session, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from senior patient experience leaders at two hospital systems (1) the most important patient experience lessons they learned during the Pandemic; (2) what new or different strategies they developed to keep patients and staff engaged and satisfied; (3) how they kept staff connected to their team and focused on key patient experience principles. You’ll also hear from Sonia Rhodes, Founder of the Experience Lab, who will share Experience design insights from health systems across the county, and positively provoke you to use lessons from the Pandemic to design the health care “Experience” of the future.
