Program Learning Objectives:

Understand the staffing and change management responses that local providers executed to meet the patient care demands initially during the COVID-19 surge, as the number of new cases leveled off, and now until the risk of infection is mitigated.

Identify the most critical elements of the go forward staffing and change management strategy to ensure a safe, effective and engaged workforce.

Given the magnitude of the impact on San Diego administrators, physicians and frontline workers from COVID-19, what are the most impactful lessons learned that will inform your workforce responses to future pandemics.

Consider leading practices related to people and change management from across the country that will inform future workforce responses.
